My Story

From Brokenness to Blessing

For years, I was the woman who “had it all together" —working in a high‑pressure executive role and pushing my body past its limits. Then my world fell apart. My two‑year‑old son was diagnosed with cancer, and not long after, I was too. No amount of intelligence or stubbornness could fix what decades of ignoring my body had created.

In that valley, God showed me that my priorities were upside down. I had been living for achievement and security instead of really depending on my true Provider. When I began to put Him first—not just in theory, but in the first moments of my day—everything started to change. My perspective shifted, my peace deepened, and I began to see my body as something to steward, not conquer.

Along the way, I also realized a hard truth: if I didn’t start caring for my own health, I would not be able to care for the family who depended on me.
